ORIGINALNI RECEPT ZA BOSANSKI KADAIF

Sastojci:

- 250g tanki kratki rezanci za kadaif
- 120g maslaca
- 50g oraha ili badema
- Malo suhog grožđa

Sirup:

- 500 gr šećera
- pola litre vode
- 100g  meda
- 1 vanilin šećer
- 1 limun

Priprema:

Polovinu svježih rezanaca složiti u pleh podmazan maslacem. Preko rasporediti sitno sjeckane orahe ili bademe i suho grožđe.
Odozgo opet naslagati rezance i preliti rastopljenim maslacem.
Tako pripremljen kadaif staviti da se peče u rerni na 200 stupnjeva jedan sat.
U međuvremenu pripremiti preliv. Od šećera i vode kuhati sirup srednje gustine i povremeno kašikom skidati pjenu. Pred kraj kuhanja dodati med i nacijeđen limun.
Vruć kadaif preliti polovinom sirupa, a preostali sirup još ukuhati da bude gust, pa ponovo preliti kolač. Tek potpuno hladan kadaif isijeći na kocke i poslužiti.
