Zimsko varivo od slanutka i sušenih rajčica

Sastojci 

-200-250 g slanutka
-1 brokula
-1 šaka listova blitve
-2 mrkve
-1 luk
-4 češnja češnjaka
-2 žlice prosa
-5-6 sušenih rajčica (namakane u vodi da omekšaju)
-2 lista lovora
-sol
-papar
-malo chillija u prahu ili svježeg

Priprema

Ja koristim uvijek suhi slanutak, nikada iz konzerve. Slanutak je potrebno namakati 24 sata. Nakon 24 sata vodu od namakanja bacite, isperite slanutak i stavite ga kuhati 20-ak minuta. Kušajte. Treba biti do pola kuhan kako bi se još mogao kuhati s povrćem 20-ak minuta. Procijedite i stavite sa strane.

Na maslinovom ulju dinstajte sitno nasjeckani luk i mrkvu. Odmah posolite i neka se dinsta dok povrće ne uvene. Dodajte sitno mljevene sušene rajčice, lovor i na listiće narezani češnjak pa promiješajte. Dodajte slanutak i opranu, na cvjetiće narezanu brokulu. Prelijte vodom da sve prekrije. Odmah posolite, popaprite, dodajte prema ukusu chilli i proso pa pustite da se kuha na srednje jakoj vatri. Provjerite treba li dodati još vode ili začina.

Zadnjih 10-ak minuta dodajte na trakice narezane listove blitve. Povrće mora biti kuhano, ali ne prekuhano. Kada ste zadovoljni okusom i gustoćom, ugasite vatru!
